Cafes in Klang Valley Part 1

Hippie and cute cafes springing up like mushrooms after the rain in Malaysia.
Ever since I'm back home- I've been "cafe hopping" a little.
Here are some of the cafes that I have been to since early September 2015.

1. Rimba & Rusa

Suka Dukkah Meatballs
Meatballs (duh), poached eggs, onions, green onions, tomato, strong herbs-curry sauce based (it is known as dukkah)

Bottled coffee

The teddy bear art caffe latte (after a numbe of sips)

View from the right of the entrance. Don't you just love the design?

That would be nice :)

Mandatory selfie

It gives me the Malaysian cafe feeling- a modern and pretty one. Will be back for more drinks, food and selfies :)

2. Rekindle

This is the place where I fall in love with caffe latte- now we know how powerful their latte is. Heard the cakes are good, tried out the red velvet and it's definitely not a myth.

They have 2 branches- one in SS2 and another one in Damansara Uptown. I have only been to the one in Uptown. It's a 2 floors cafe. Bonus: they have electronic darts ;) Something different eh? Not alcohol with darts, but coffee with darts.

Flat white latte, red velvet and caffe latte- RM33.80

Looking forward to try out other cakes from there as well.

3. Jam & Kaya

Was having a little problem looking for this place. It is located right beside PJ Palms Sports Centre.
Up up the stairs to the cottage-look-alike cafe

simple menu

Front view: it's a tiny little cafe with about 10 tables

Left side view: left hand side is the entrance

Egg benedict, greens, and ham on top of a light and crisp croissant, not to forget some hollandaise sauce - RM16.70

Cafe latte- a good one.

Carbonara pasta with chicken and mushrooms - RM16.90

Mandatory picture

PS: gotta try the Farmer's Pancake Breakfast for only RM18.90- it's not in my pictures above- but I will never forget how it tastes like. Will definitely go back.

4. Caffeinated Cabin

The cafe is located next to this salon

Close up of the cafe entrance- very rainforest feel. That red tent is the outdoor seatings.

Established since 2014.

Inside seatings

Mandatory pose
No caffe latte this time, but a hot cup of green tea.

This cabin provides a cozy and warm feeling. It is located on the road side- a revamped house into a salon and a cafe. Pots of plants and concrete floors and walls help to bring you to another zen of life. Highly recommended.

5. Cafe Lafayette

It is located on the first floor

Time frames, magazines, and black color ceiling give a metropolitan feel
